I saw these on TV the other day and I do wonder if it would be worth buying. I wear hats a lot because I get skin cancer.

wow @LindaTX8, I didn't think anything to match my Tula but those are cool, no pun intended. Did you get one yet?

Very nice ... I wish they had that first one (floppy with scarf) in a size small because I'd buy it! Unfortunately the medium would be too big for my small head. Most hats are usually way too big on me so I always wear baseball caps that have the adjustable strap.I had a skin cancer on my nose so I have to wear hats when I'm outside in the sun.

No, I haven't gotten one yet, @Jolana. I need to get more info on it first. I've had 5 Basal Cell Carcinoma lesions removed so far, so hats are a big part of my life now, along with sunscreens. Too bad this area of Texas has such constant intense sunlight, hardly any relief all year long.

I know what you mean @LindaTX8, I've had 3 and a graft on my nose. Those were with sunscreen but obviously not enough, lol
Thanks for posting the link, I think I will order one before next summer

Interesting hat! I want to try one. Hilarious! It would be nice to hear how people like it.

Jolana mentioned Tula hats. I love them. My third Laurel Lattice hat was taken from my cart shopping at a grocery store recently. Crying But I'll be buying two more. Until then I'm wearing the Ranch Lattice Hat. Smiling

I know when I'm getting a basal cell, because it itches like the dickens. Have any of y'all experienced the itching?

6 basal cells have been cut out, 2 skin grafts on my nose. The last one was Squamous-cell carcinoma. And I've lost count of how many small basal cells have been burned off. Bring on the hats! Hurray!

Thank You! for sharing LindaTX8

Yes, I've had itching, weepy drainage and lesions on my skin that just wouldn't heal. The first one was on one side of my forehead. I finally went to the doctor about it, but she was clueless, as most non-dermatology MD's tend to be. She told me it looked fine. The next time, she tried to freeze it off, but later it returned. She was leery of what the managed care watchdogs would say, so no referrals. Finally, I got better insurance and went to another doctor, who also said it didn't look like cancer. I then went to a dermatologist, who right away said it looked like cancer and afterward removed it. I've had MOHS surgery on all the basal cell lesions since then. I really need to find a better MOHS doctor...with the last MOHS I had recently, I was not impressed with the results. DD would prefer that I have any surgeries in Houston anyway, where she can send me to someone she trusts. I never have enough hats! They get old and fall apart sometimes.
