Anyone getting drug commercials in recent threads?

Got tons in Adenium forum.

Not just there. Have someone selling 'government' documents. Dave has been notified, but I'm thinking he is away because he would have stomped on this junk in a heartbeat.

They're still coming in. There are two in the All Things Gardening forum.

I see at least a couple dozen, all repeats from the same user name. Hoo, I wouldn't want to be them by the time Dave gets down with 'em.

yeah, it's pretty awful; don't know who the admin is for the Adenium site or they could at least remove the majority.

Whew! I think it has stopped...crossing my fingers. I counted over 180 postings in the Adenium forum!

He's been in a couple of other Forums too, briefly. There isn't a moderator for Adeniums, Debra but Dave has been notified. Sure was a lot of posting for a one day membership!!

I would volunteer to be moderator for Adenium forum but my time zone is too different from the rest of US. For example, it's 5:25 am Sep.21 here, and 3:25 pm Sep.20 in Florida. I am kind of where America's day begins.

Moderators and admins can't do anything about this. We can't delete threads or ban members. It is a problem for Dave to solve.

Crimy! He has started up again. No more counting...I'll unwatch the forum for now.

Hopefully this will be as easy as Dave writing a simple script that deletes all posts by that screen name then banning him/her. Block the incoming IP address too...

I'd hate if he had to manually find all the posts and delete them!

So far the Container, Sempervivum and Sedum Forums have not been affected. Sure hope it is fixed soon.

Moderators can delete threads on their own forum, but not on other forums.

Did not know that, Karen, but didn't hurt to try.

Dave may be taking Sunday off to spend time with his family but I'm sure he will block new member redser first thing tomorrow morning if he doesn't check in sooner. Gee, that person sure has been busy!!!
