I was told this was a mother of many. When I got it home I repotted it and let it sit outside for 2 weeks then brought it inside. I put it in the shower once a week and wet it down and mist it ever day.

The first picture is of the plant today and the second is what it looked like when I bought it home. I hope I am caring for it right. If not please let me know.
Thank You!

I have many, MANY, of these plants. It sounds to me like you are giving it way too much water. I treat it like a cactus. I grow and sell these plants.
That's just an opinion based on years of experience....I have no professional credentials.

Hi Fmwynd, Welcome! to All Things Plants!
Hi spinetilaz, Welcome! to you too!

Fmwynd, Yes, your lovely plant appears to be a Kalanchoe, commonly called "Mother of Thousands". I'm not good at comparing photos but it may be either Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe daigremontiana) or Donkey Ears (Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri)

Thank you spinetilaz and plantladylin.
How often should I water it and should I stop misting it?

Welcome! Fmwynd

In the summer in full all day Sun I can water my succulents once a week and they are fine. I never mist unless they are inside for the winter and I only water once a month. Succulents store a lot of water in their leaves if you keep watering and misting the plant will rot and die.

Instead of watering on a schedule only water when the soil is dry for a 3 days.

Once a week watering is okay in summer, especially if you are growing it outdoors. Part sun-part shade is okay. Do not mist the leaves, stomates of succulent leaves are closed during the day, so they have no use for it, you might just be inviting undue fungal/bacterial rotting if you keep doing it. Those leaves are quite efficient conserving water that way, lesser evaporative loss.

Thank you tarev. I forgot to tell where I live, I am in South Carolina. I moved all my plants inside last week, we had a few nights in the 50s.

I grow my similar plants outdoors year round, since we have milder winters here. It is such a resilient one, easily comes back during Spring.

If this pot isn't sitting very near a window that has some direct sun (E/S/W,) it may not be getting enough light. The Kalanchoe needs it, the Sansevieria (bird-nest type snake plant sharing its' pot) can easily adjust to that.
