Blooms are so beautiful, but my zone appears to be a little too cool. Orem doing something wrong... my Moreno's Rainbow and all plumeria refuse to bloom. Grow in pots plunged in ground full sun all spring, summer and early fall... bring indoors to garage for 4months in winter... then back out in spring...great growth and foliage but no blooms for 4 years. 😞

That is too bad; what are you feeding them if I may ask? You should be able to get them to bloom.

Judy, try feeding them with Super Bloom. It may help.

Do you know why there are so many different types of "Plumeria Ruba". I have a couple that the tag says Plumeria Ruba but doesn't have a specific name like your naming?

Plumeria rubra, when propagated from seed, produces new colors and shapes. Therefore every seedling of P. rubra is a new variety. That means that you can name it. But not everyone does, preferring to call them simply P. rubra, I guess.
