Aztec Headress has about 7 buds per scape, the scapes are under 22".
Every pod has under 5-6 seeds, usually has 3-4!
I like the pattern, it's pretty and consistent.
Two seedlings out of Aztec Headdress.

I got Aztec Headdress the spring of 2012, it bloomed that summer, and set one pod. It did not bloom in 2013 and it had not increased very well, it did not survive the winter of that year. I was disappointed as it was a pretty daylily. The one pod contained two seeds, both germinated, one seedling did not make it this past winter the other one bloomed this summer but the bloom was not impressive, I will see if it looks any better next year, if not out it goes.

Tried it about eight years ago but it did not make it through winter and I never got to see it bloom. Might try it again if there are others in my zone growing it.
