Hi all, I've been trying to find a good plant forum to be part of, this place seems pretty cool. I just wanted to share some stuff on this plant I really love lately!

Last year, at a plant show I bought a small Pilea Glauca ( also called blue moon baby tears, and pilea libanensis) It doesn't even seem to have an official name!

Anyway when I was in california 3 years ago when I first found a similar plant and brought home a cutting...well it died. And I wasnt able to find anything similar until that plant show last year, and I begged to have them rip the last one out of the display, they sold out fast. Any was since then I was able to propagate a BUNCH of my original plants, and now I have ALOT of 2, 3, and 4 inch pots. So proud!! Smiling Rolling my eyes.

I wanted to share them with people or try to sell them at a show soon, but I am not a company and really can't afford a table just for my small amount of plants. So I thought I'd reach out to people online instead. From what I noticed, they seem to be more popular in germany and some asian countries.

I have the 2" pots listed on my ebay for sale, if any one is interested. They are good for terrariums, and miniature gardening as well as alone, in a large pot. Very pretty.

If you get a small one it grows quickly, and you can pull off the shoots and just stick them in the dirt ( even in the same pot if you transplant to a slightly bigger pot, it will get bushy quickly if you trim and stick the ends back in the dirt, It's awesome!! lol)

I keep mine on the north side of my house so the lighting is indirect (north light) and they seem to love it and grow quicker than ever before.

Anyway Cheers, the uploaded pic isn't my plant, but I will upload a picture of some of the babies soon! Thank You!

-My interests are unique looking petite plants and succulents Smiling

Hi & welcome! Those look great!

P. libanensis is the correct name. Your pics would make a valuable addition to that plants' entry in the database here:

I see your pic in the entry. Thanks for giving that plant a pic! On my wish list, but haven't seen in a store yet. :+)
