That metal tag looks to me like it has names of a whole lot of African countries on it. Nigeria, Congo, Angola, Mozambique . . . what the???

So nice to look at!!

I was there too, helping to set up tables and making the ice and water run. I also registered three orchids for the judging: Bc. Memoria Bernice Foster, Brassanthe Maikai and Bc. Marge Putman. I noticed several of the vendors were bringing orchids to be judged so the competition will be fierce. I'll be giving a potting/mounting class tomorrow afternoon as part of the festivities, It should be fun.

having only seen some of these plants pictures on line...it was amazing to see them in real life today. Imagine only being able to buy plants at Lowe's or Home Depot...that was me..in NC..
I am like a kid in a candy store here in Florida!

Roberta, I've figured out a way to keep it all straight...especially when I often come back with 5 or 6 hundred pictures..and yesterday was before the show opened so I had all the plants to myself and could take as much time as needed.
Today..I clerked for the Cattleya judges and learned so much..it was great fun!


Jim, I'm sorry I missed your presentation...the contractor is in the midst of tearing up both of my bathrooms and he needed me!!!
