I have been very busy up here making new beds for the spring. I have been putting in hugelkulture/lasagna beds. So far I have made three. Today I will put the structure for mini greenhouses in my beds, and plant more garlic. I am hoarding leaves as well. Now that I have a place by the woods I can make as big a pile as I want and my wife doesn't complain!

In March I will put plastic over these to make mini green houses. @carolinescott you should do this way up where you are to extend the season and start early.

@trish this is a big version of winter sowing!

Reid, why not put the plastic on now? If you do, you will be able to plant event earlier (depending on what you want to plant, of course). I like the criss-cross with the hoops, that should make for a sturdier structure! Thumbs up
