Today was the start to move my plumeria inside. The first thing I did was check on 18 cuttings I had sitting in coarse perlite in a 5 gal. bucket. These cuttings were taken the first two weeks of September. I found that 10 had rooted, so I had to pot those plants. Just what I needed, 10 more potted plants. Sighing!

Then I started moving potted plants that I had sitting in the landscape. They were in everything from 3 gal. up to 24 gal. pots. Several of those (I am not even half way done) had to be cut back to reduce their size. Space is at a premium. I have taken 15 cuttings so far and after they all callus, they'll go into that bucket with the Sept. cuttings. I will have to use another 5 gal. bucket (half filled with coarse perlite) to handle all the cuttings I will end up with. I will probably take a minimum of another 15 cuttings before I'm done.

Woe is me. My temporary greenhouse in the garage is more than half filled. I don't have a clue where I am going to put everything I still have to move. Crying I may have to go back to the way I used to store my plumeria and un-pot a bunch, rinse the soil off the roots, trim the leaves, and bag them up. If anyone would like to get some cuttings/rooted plants at a great price, now is the time to tell me via T-Mail.

Post pics Ken here or on the coop section, you might find some takers if it is a great price. Cuttings are not hard to keep, but patience is definitely important since whoever will purchase it will have to wait till March to plant it.

I am selling all my cuttings, regardless of variety, for $7.50 each and all my rooted single-tip ones for $10. A two-plant minimum is required.

I just finished taking the last couple of dozen cuttings and un-potted about a dozen of my large plants. I have rinsed off all the soil and they will spend the day tomorrow drying in the sun. I simply had no space for them in the temporary plumeria greenhouse. Those dozen plants will have to be bagged and kept inside a guest bedroom closet.

Thanks Gigi,
Not sure why I tagged him that way. Must have been sleepy. I was up late last night getting rid on my white flies and spider mites.
