A few days ago I posted a photo to the Photo Contest under a certain category. I found that you can post more than one photo to the same category (4 to each I think I read - please correct me if I'm wrong). So for the last two days I've been trying to post another photo to that same category, and it will not finalize. It lets me load my photo from my computer, but when I click on the Button "Finish & Submit this Image", it does nothing.

Did it show the actual image above the "Finish and Submit this Image" button?

Yes, it was there on the page. But said it hadn't actually been posted until I used the submit button below. Do you suppose it's my browser?

I question my browser because several places I visit don't like it and say I need to update. But I keep it updated with Windows; its IE9 or 10 I think. Why I ask that is because I still can't click on photos here in posts to enlarge them and then use the "x" to get out of the photo. To get out of an enlarged photo I have to use my back button on my browser which is also very frustrating because I lose which page I was actually on and the post I was reading.

I'd say there's a good chance it's your browser. Is there some reason you're still using IE? Have you tried one of the other browsers like Firefox or Chrome?

Yes, I do think it was probably my browser. I've spent most of the morning downloading Chrome and figuring out and uninstalling IE9, and when I checked, I was able to view photos in the posts and be able to properly e"x"it out of them. In just a bit, will try uploading another photo to the photo contest.

Yep, it was definitely the browser. Will have to make sure I let my mom know that and to get hers changed too. Thumbs up

Well, you don't have to uninstall IE. I have multiple browsers on my computer; I just personally prefer Firefox (although Chrome is faster).

Oh, well I didn't know for sure. But I've visited the Google Webmaster forums last year (winter - too busy during garden season), and it was suggested to go with Google Chrome, but they said there can often be a conflict if running two browsers. Shrug! I remember running both IE and Netscape Navigator with no problem, but I figured those tech guys in the forum knew what they were talking about, so I did.

That's funny. Hilarious! I'd read that it's hard to uninstall IE from any Windows system, so I never even tried. Haven't had a problem (at least not one I'm aware of!) And I ran IE and Netscape Navigator, too. Whooo, back a ways, that!

Hey, I used to do data entry using IBM punch cards. Nasty job, that.
