I'm using the 2nd ShelterLogic greenhouse mostly for overflow of plants since I have the first one full of Orchids, a couple of Hibiscus and all my window boxes. Here are a few photos if anyone's interested.

You have protected a beautiful collection! Love your Angel's Trumpet! Are you able to hang some of your plants from the ceiling supports? I had to do that this year in my over crowded greenhouse to free up some air space for better circulation.

Thanks Cheryl, the trumpets apparently love this time of the year as it was the same thing last year in the other greenhouse. They just went crazy with the cooler weather. Yes, I've got a small Bougainvillea, ivy, Wandering Jew, String of Bananas and some Stone Crop all hanging from the center support.

Most definitely Sandi, odd though that the scent seems to diminish as the day goes on and by the evening it's about gone. I can't even count the blooms on them there are so many and they're all the way in the back anyway.

The scent fades after mid morning, but returns when it gets dark. That is, if the bloom lasts for more than a day.
We have been working for three days to get the hoops up and filled. I still have pots and hanging baskets in the garage that need to be moved. I just hope we have a few more sunny days to finish up!

Nice! How long do you think you can keep things blooming in there? How wonderful to go walking through all of those blooms.

Sandi, we're heading to Galveston tomorrow and leave on our annual cruise Saturday and will be back next Thursday. I hope it doesn't get too cold in either of them. I have my propane heater going in the one with the orchids but the other I really haven't finished yet. I put the walkway in but didn't get a chance to lay the 2" of pea gravel down on either side as that front was coming in and we had to get everything put away. I'm not going to leave the heater running while we're gone as I just don't feel comfortable doing that.

Hi Cindy, I had Snapdragons blooming in Feb of this year also Kalanchoe. I'd say as long as I can keep it from freezing in either greenhouse everything should be ok. When we get back I'll be getting some of that Mylar sheeting such as those emergency blankets are made of and put some around the north end of the greenhouses.

How nice! Going on a cruise sounds like fun. I don't think it'll be too cold before you return. I don't grow orchids, so I don't know how sensitive they are to chilly weather, though. Today it was chilly, but the hoops were fairly warm inside. Of course, they were "stuffed " to the top with plants. I think the ground gives off enough heat to keep things safe from the chill so far.

I think my thermometer showed it was about 40 for a low and in the heated one it dropped into the 50's so that should be good enough for my orchids. Hasn't hurt them so far anyway. It is a lot of fun. This will be our 7th one. We can only afford one a year and Dec is the best time to go to Mexico in our opinion since it's warm there but not hot.

The 7 day forecast for Austin shows 46 for a low next Wed. Your plants should be nice and cozy, even though you're a little more north than we are.

I just found your thread and pics, Chris. Very nice! I love the yellow Brug and it did go crazy. I may have to try one in my greenhouse in NM. I've tried them outdoors in Arizona and had miserable luck. I couldn't keep one alive, let alone get it to bloom.

Hi Karen, yes, they did like it when I moved them inside but they're done blooming now. I can start you some from cuttings if you'd like they put out roots very quickly. I've got some started now for a friend of mine here and they're about ready to send off. I've found that here in Central Texas in the summer especially you have to water them at least twice a day and I mean soak them good. The Datura I grow are the same they love their water. I'm sure it would be the same in NM and AZ. Let me know and I'll start four or five cuttings and when they're ready you can PM me your address. If you'd like to try some Datura let me know and I'll enclose some seeds I've got a ton of them. Here's how they looked in April they've grown quite a bit since then. They're over 8' tall now and I had a heck of a time getting them into the new greenhouse.

Thank You! Thank You! Chris, I'd love some cuttings! That is a very generous offer.

I have only my native datura growing wild in NM. It doesn't get a lot of water but it's happier when it does rain. Are any of your seeds for colored daturas? My only one is plain white. I've been looking for seeds of some colored ones.

I'll get some started tomorrow then. All my Datura seeds are the double purple as shown in the photos below. I also have a few thousand Moon Flower seeds if you're interested.

Those photos are all great! I'd love some seeds when you send the cuttings, and I'll pay you for the shipping. I had moonflowers long ago and would love to have some now. One of my wishes has been to make a moon garden. Up to now all I've done is make a moon garden mosaic. Hilarious!

No problem Karen, just send me a Treemail with your address when you get the chance. Don't worry about postage it's not that much. Don't forget Moon Flowers suck up water as much as Brugs and Datura.
