Geez, look at the size of those fish!
I'm heading through Los Angeles next week, I may have to take the time to stop for a walk at Huntington Gardens. That is if it's not raining.
It is a wonderful place, I went to their annual plant sale last year and brought home some real gems.
Anyone interested they do have a nice website, Definately a good gardener vacation destination.

Heron food!! I even had a Eagle come in my pond. I didn't mind if he eat a Koi, a small one anyway. I sold my Koi and the Heron's left.

I had a large fish tank that I would keep goldfish in, and when they got so large, I'd transport them into a couple ponds in local parks. At one of the parks one of the workers said that within a day of me putting fish in, the herons would get them, because they were tank raised they were too friendly and would not know to dive when they see shadows or ripples from the birds! Thumbs down Oh well Whistling
