They were very easy to grow from seeds. I purchased the seeds from a seed catalog but it was so long ago I forget which one.

porkpal said:Those of us who are just starting out by collecting likely looking hips are unlikely to know who the pollen parent is, and judging by the pictures Philip posted, the blooms are not going to help solve the mystery. However, I don't feel the fun will be spoiled at all.
