I've had this one a long time and have never known the ID. I've seen some that are close, but the flowers are never excactly like these. Are any of you familiar with it?

Karen,
It is 100% Orbea variegated. It comes in a light version like yours and a much darker version. I have own one for 5 years only to have it never flower. I let it die in the winter. I will replace it come spring to see if that one will bloom. If not, I will never own another one. I have seen pictures of their flowers from so many people that I hate that plant. (just kidding).
Etymology: The generic name "Orbea" derives from the Latin word “Orbis” meaning "circle, disc", referring to the thickened corolla part - the annulus -surrounding the flower centre. (The genus name implies: "circle").
Here's a picture of a friend on another web site. Yours is just a tad bit lighter.

Thanks, Stush. Maybe your care is just too good for them. This one has been left outside under an olive tree in weather as cold as 20 and high as 118. It has a drip on it that waters it once a week in summer and never in the winter because we get winter rains. I almost never look at it, and it's form is pretty ugly, but it flowers all the time.
