One seed package suggests growing dwarf foxglove as a houseplant. Has anyone tried them?
I have sown the seeds under lights and got good germination.

Foxglove is basically an outside plant and even some of the dwarfs get 30" or more tall. I have never tried to grow them as an inside plant. Keep in mind, you wouldn't want children or pets to nibble on foxglove.

Yes, digitalis is a drug for heart problems.
I was wondering about vernalisation for flowering
as most foxgloves are biennial or perennial.
The seeds have germinated so I will try it as house plant,
as this variety probably is not hardy enough for here.

On perusing seed racks--another seed supplier says it grows to 4 feet?
Not so good then as houseplant, but it said it would flower first year if started early.
I think they will be garden plants here!
