I've had a number of geraniums over the years and each one has invariably had holes in their leaves. In every other respect they've always appeared quite healthy, the holes in the leaves being the only problem. Can someone offer any insight into a way to stop this? What are the most common pests and treatment for geraniums, and this particular condition if you happen to know?

Thanks

Years ago I had holes in leaves, like yours. I had to stand and watch the leaves to see any movement and it ended up being a green catepillar.

well i've looked into that now and apparently those bugs are pretty common to geraniums. from what i've found, i need to find "BT" pesticide. sounds like you had precisely the same problem. if i could just fix this one issue, i should have some very healthy plants this year. hopefully.

Just pull up a chair and watch for leaves that move. That will lead you to the culprit so have a paper towel ready.
