I really love how the "Recent Threads" section was moved up to top right. I know it was always below before. And I sometimes checked it out. But now that it is in my sight line when I'm on a desktop computer I check out a lot more threads than just what is in my forum watching list! Good move!

I have, too -- I don't think I ever scrolled down to look at the threads before. Interesting to see where the action is Smiling

I rarely ever scrolled past my watched forums so having the recent thread up top has me looking at them a lot more now.

I like the layout! I often scrolled down to Recent Threads just to see what was happening around the site, but it definitely catches my eye better now.

I have a (sort of ) related question/comment. The "Thread Watcher" seems to show the most recently updated thread at the bottom of the list of updated threads... Is there any way to reverse this?

I sometimes keep threads on that list for ease of reference, not necessarily clicking on each new update... so the threads where I'm actively participating end up at the bottom of the list (where I have to scroll down for them).

I like it also. I have actually 'unwatched' several forums that were of only mild interest to me, figuring I can catch new conversations as they pop up in the Recent Threads area. I also am visiting more forums than previously, thus 'meeting' new cyber-friends.

Another advantage to having the Recent Threads on the front page is rather than scrolling all the way to the bottom to see whose banner is featured, there is almost always a thread started that discusses the banner, and you can just click on that to give thumbs, nuts, or comments. I like it!

I was wishing that could be the case, but I don't know how hard that would be to program into the site. I love watching all of the new banners. I've had a few of mine approved, so maybe they will be used one day!

You don't even have to scroll, just hit the 'End' key and you are there. Hit the 'Home' key and you are back at the top. Of course I know most of you already knew that, it is just sometimes we forget.
