I'm looking for Violets or Violet seeds that survive in zone 7 with frost and snow and thrive in shady lawn areas. We have purple and white species, I'm looking for orange, yellow, pink.

Hello Keith one is the Phillippine variety
The other , Which I am talking about is growing here still , but iffy , I am not sure ,White, Violet and what I refer to as an orange , I do not think their species native, but they could be partly from Carolina Violets crossed with Swiss
Because they have been Hybridized , Hard to say what seeds will do . The same reason I try a few though from time to time , If you want the harder to find color as blooms , sometimes that is about the only way . or so it seems
Off colors like oranges , greenish ,,and red are not that common are they ? ,,

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
I'm in zone 5/maybe 6 and I grow the johnny jump ups like they sell at Lowes, in defferent colors. They always re-seed for me. Keith you shouldn't have any trouble growing these in 7.
