We planted one last season in the wind shelter of a fence. It grew quite large and bloomed and bloomed and bloomed. In December we had a few nights in the high 20s, and it defoliated but lived, is growing out, and now has a trunk probably 2 inches across. This is a tough and rewarding variety. We collected seed from this plant last year and have a lot of it's seedlings coming along now.

It is one of the older cultivars and did well for me. Somewhere along the line it was lost in the shuffle.

I haven't grown this one yet, but hope to snag one at Flowers By The Sea this year. Beautiful flowers.
