This seed is nearly microscopic, 100 seeds is a very small amount. I do not know what amount of ground the seed will cover. I never start my own clean seeds, it takes many, many hours to clean them. I start the debris since half the seed is lost in the process of cleaning.

USDA zones 6-9 , if a seed bank is established the mint will come back from seed each year in colder zones.
