Do you have one?
What do you use it for? Storage / potting / a get away ?
Is it neat and tidy or stuffed to the door?

This is mine . My DH built it so he could have his garage back. It started out as a potting shed ,but I now do most of my potting on the potting bench or in the greenhouse, so now it is mostly storage.
My son put a solar powered light in this summer so I can spend even more time there.
It is a great get away filled with my gardening treasures and tools.

Not sure if this qualifies as a garden shed, but its a shed in the garden. We call it the smoke shack.Thumb of 2013-04-20/Jewell/7737f0

After the last tent died...again from a sudden snow squall at night... I saw this pictured in a local e-newspaper article. The tin roof should shed the wet snow, and maybe put rain in the rainbarrels. Hubby now stays dry when he goes out for a cigar. Not sure if its far enough from the house though Hilarious! great space for bird watching...lots of windows (most open) .

Cool building, looks like a great reading room as well -- away from the phone and all the household chores.

Here is a picture of my garden shed. It will be getting moved this spring to the left to make room for a Pergola to be built there. This is the only picture on my laptop that I could find that has my garden shed in it. You can see it in back section of the picture.

Cinda, I love your garden shed. I bet it holds a lot. Right now with it being winter my she is full of my outside yard decorations.

Jewell, your smoke shack is awesome. I would love to sit out there on a snowy day (if there was a heat source) or on a rainy day and just relax and enjoy Mother Nature.

Here is a picture of my garden/potting shed. Sometimes it gets filled to the doorway then gets a good cleaning. Right now I can walk in and store stuff.

Love the bright colors, John. How did you get the paint to look distressed?

Thanks for the comments, Bonehead my wife came up with the idea. She too liked the vibrant colors but didn't want something that looked newly painted. She wanted something rustic and aged. After we painted with the bright colors, we applied a dark stain-- I think it was walnut and wiped it off after we got the correct effect. After it dried, we then used a hand sander and "distressed" it. We didn't want a uniform appearance so we sanded heavily in some areas and lightly in others.

Not the nicest looking outdoor shed (were thinking of painting it) but with the storage i made (indoor and outdoor) it does the job

It gets cleaned and organised i'd say once a year

These are all great. (Especially John's).
Here's mine. Don't mind the mess.
I've never been good at standing at a work table. I'm a squatter, preferring to do tasks on the ground or floor. So that's why there's stuff everywhere on the ground, outside the shed.

My uncle has built a garden shed in their garden. I don't have any photos with me, but they basically use it for time outs. They occasionally have dinner or snacks there. It's built using old windows that were replaced during a renovation.

I had to change my garden shed into a garden shed/greenhouse. I finished the roof and the exterior wall. I used as much of the existing materials because we do like the colors. Will post more once I am finished. I needed a space to put my plants for the winter. I can't put them all in the house.

Hi Anole

I really liked your garden. It is looking very beautiful. Clean and surrounded by the greenery. You can also get ideas to add new design to your garden shed.
