I've not bought from them however one of the ladies I work with buys from them yearly. She has all good things to say too.

I also just found this site, have you been here? http://www.heirloomseedswap.co...
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

I used to buy from them all the time. I've been out of gardening the last couple of years. But rebuilt my GH and will be back in full force so I'm sure I will be ordering from them again.

I finally re-joined after 13years of absence
I will have14 listings,mostly lima/butterbeans and southern peas
If any one plans to join and list seeds the run out date is Nov.1
You can join any time and receive the year book
The year book should be out in Feb.of next year
There is a 40$ subscription fee,senior is 25$
It has thousands of heirloom and endangered seed sources by hundreds of members
It is well worth it if you are a seed saver and wish to acquire old favorites not provided elsewhere
In addition to the year book a member receives 4 other publications throughout the year

I just found your link to the Heirloom seed swap - it looks interesting! I've been a member here for a while, but I'm just now getting around to look into new forums. I'm glad I stopped in! Hurray!

I always look forward to my catalog from Seed Savers Exchange. Every time I peruse it, I find something else I just know I need. I'm very needy. Smiling

I'm a member and I love that company. Having a four year old son theta I am trying to keep interested in gardening, seed savers and their many colored veggies have really helped out. He loves that we can grow red dragon carrots, blue corn, red corn, yellow cucumbers with spikes, and on and on. I've never had a problem with them and because it's all heirloom you can save the seeds and keep it going!

If he's never seen Bok Choy or flowering Bok Choy (Yu Choy Sum), he might find them weird enough to be interesting.

Or purple yard-long beans.

I've been a member off and on since the mid 1970s -- I rejoined this year, although I'm not listed; I've been growing and saving seed from "Blue Peter" pole snap beans since those very early days and plan to list them next year, I believe only one other member is offering them. SSE is really an amazing resource, well worth supporting if you can.

Now that I have a bit of money burning a hole in my pocket, I am going to join that group and a couple of others I have been -- going to do -- for a lot of years now.! Thank You! I tip my hat to you.
