A big Group hug for you. : ) Your new place sound absolutely perfect. My sister moved into a wonderful apartment that sounds a lot like what you have. Sure give you a lot of freedom when you don't have a big house to take care of.
You have a lot of adventures ahead of you while living to 100 yrs.

Here is another summer container.

Debbie, I like that cart you have! What a great idea!

Lynn, your containers look really good, the geraniums and silene go very well together!

For the brugmansia, I leave it out as long as possible in the fall (as long as it doesn't freeze) then bring into the basement in a dark corner and water just enough so it doesn't completly shrivel away. Then come April/May take it outside, water really well and it springs back to life! I keep a saucer of water under it with the sun impaitens since they are both water guzzlers! Hilarious!

Thanks everyone, my sister gave me two of those a few years back. They were green and eventually the bottoms fell out. (they were wooden). So I painted that one white and guess what fits perfectly in the bottom. The 18 pack 4" pot tray. And it already had holes.

I'm really happy to see this forum and this new site. I am a mostly container gardener, do hanging baskets and tree size pots to teeny pots. Love the control you can maintain over soil content, portability, and interest in choice of containers. Here's one I thought of last year while walking by some cat supplies, while looking for a cool pot for catnip.

Susie that is very cleaver. Is that Lemon Balm?
The pot died, completely fell apart. so moved the contents into different containers. Was sure a carefree mix of plants.

It's catnip, there are two kinds and this is the one that cats love. Thanks so much!

Very cute, Suse!

Well, it was hotter than hades here...I never made it to the garden center. I'll wait a month to pick up some calibrachoa . 155 is not pleasant with high humidity too.

thanks Becky! I couldn't live there either. We drive over to see my son and brother and their families and I always swear I'm not going to do it again in the hot weather. :)
