I am very much looking forward to heirloom tomato growing this year. I have to say that I have more varieties in the form of seeds that I have ever grown in a year!

I sure would like to hear what ohers are growing. The seeds I have 'wintersown' are just now sprouting. Hurray!

San marzano paste tomatoes. It's my new pet project. Crossing different gene pools of marzanos.

Very Interesting, Phillip.
I hope you come up with something extra wonderful!

I'm planning on growing some San Marzanos too. Hopefully enough to actually can some, that's the goal.

We're close to the Piney Woods but just north on the border of the Blacklands and the Post Oak Savannah.... it always seems a little cooler here than the surrounding areas. But yes, same zone. Thumbs up

Best wishes for your gowing adventure! Improved San Marzanos sounds exciting! Big Grin
