I have had this nice hardy geranium for a couple years and it came without a tag.
Thumb of 2011-11-12/gardengus/ddf641
It has some dark color on the leaves

I just checked out the versicolor, having a hard time finding a picture of the leaves with the dark markings.
I did read one description that said ''light green leaves occasionally marked with brown''

Don't know if it means some plants have brown color or there is some color on the leaves?

I do see the flowers look a lot a like.

I think I found the right one
Geranium x oxonianum 'Walter's Gift' (Geranium x oxonianum x Geranium versicolor)

http://geraniaceae.com/cgi-bin...
The confusion is now understandable, being a crossing between the oxonianum and versicolor Hilarious!

I love the G. versicolor on the wild flowers of Ireland link! I haven't seen anything like that. Love the purple veining on the flowers!! Any idea where or if that one is available in the US?

I had started on a search for seeds - then got side-tracked. Hilarious!
