Just a note to be careful. The more yellow it has in it the harder it is to maintain. Some exemptions does exist. I loved the S. guineensis Variegated. Hardest of all I ever owned to maintain. It lived for two years for me then died. Slowly and nothing I could do. Typical with guineensis is having 3 leaves to a stolen. So when a pup would start, two leaves then maybe another having two med size and one small size leaf. Why I love trifasciata. Having anywhere from 3 to 7. Some times even stacking and having an unlimited amount.

Cinta,
What kind did you purchased? Quit teasing and show a picture. Some of the S. hahnii I own is like that. They keep trying to change into Gold Hahnii and something in between. Is it in the S. trifasciata family?

Stush I did post the pic in Succulent/Cactus; It is that Bantel. There are so many different designs in that pot I do not know what is going on with that plant. It is page 3.

The thread "Succulent and Cactus Chat for 2015" in Cactus and Succulents forum

I did go back and looked at your pics and I see some of your Bantel blades are a little cookoo too. I am thinking maybe taking the darker ones out and just planting the light ones in the pot that I planned to plant this one. I have a white living room furniture and had planned a black pot with this plant. Trying to set up a black and white theme. With all the dark green ones growing it would throw off my color theme.

Cinta,
As far as I know. It can't be done. Sorry. New growth could come in darker or lighter. I heard it depends on how much light it gets. More light, lighter color. There are some others like 'Siam Silver', or maybe 'White Striped Giant'. but not sure it they also darken with age and will throw the whole pot off. Some 'White Striped' is actually Bantel misnamed.

Bought this masoniana with very faint variegation for 50 cents. Hope the next leaves get better stripes. And look at this huge canaliculata I saw growing wild in an empty lot.

Okay, my newly potted Sans appears to be saying "Thank you." The leaves on the larger one of the two have spred out, almost touching the rim of the new pot. I think I heard it say, "Ahhhh" the other day. Lovey dubby Now I'm just waiting for the baby to show itself!

Okay, I'm impatient. I moved away some potting mix and found that the baby has made its way to the edge of the new pot. This sucker better start growing upward, I'm not repotting it again! I left a good two inches or more between the end of the pup and the edge of the pot. It's only been two weeks. Blinking

The way it's growing, you would think I gave it some growth hormone. Maybe two weeks from now it'll be a full sized plant. Hilarious!

dnaesaur,
Hello and welcome. There are a lot of Canadians into Sansevieria. You do have a warm summer time to put outside? I know I have only 4 good months myself to enjoy out of doors. Cold window don't help these guys. I am growing mine in a wooden built stand with shop lights and mirrors. Next year I plan to install a heat mat on the bottom shelf.
