Looks like I'm going to be a Grandma again! nodding The first baby just breached the soil about three weeks ago and I know I didn't see a second baby forming when I repotted back in January. I apologize for the bluriness, but it's the best picture I could get.

Planto,
I love the hi yellow in the plant. Possible to get a 'flame' or 'kiski' out of it? Keep watch. Good choice.

Congrats on your 2 grand babies, Planto. Hurray! I agree with Stush in loving the yellow on the leaves.

Thank You!

I still can't get over how far the first baby wanted to get away from 'Mama' to the point it was about to burst out of the original pot (okay, not literally, but that pot was stretching), but now there's a second baby forming right next to it. Hilarious!

Some have been known to break ceramic. Even the thick plastic pots split open. Reminds me of a quick patch job on the beach. Cut down the vegetation, spread gravel, laid 4 inches of black top. One week latter, big crack in black top with fresh sprout of yucca coming out.

Stush,
Now that you say that, I do remember seeing a picture of someone's Sans that cracked a ceramic pot. Crazy.

Apparently those strong guys want to spread out. Give them lots of room, or they will muscle their way out. Blinking Hilarious! I've got to look into growing more Sans varieties and getting to know them better. So far, I only have the common ones. I had Moonshine once, but gave it away when I had to downsize because of illness. That's one plant I should have kept as it was nearly carefree. I'm still kicking myself for getting rid of it, as the person I gave it to, didn't take care of it. Grumbling

Deebie,
You're not kidding. Hilarious! I've never had such success with a Sans before, but I think I finally found what works best for me. As much sun as I can give them!

I'm sorry to hear about your 'Moonshine,' those are pretty ones. I don't see them around here much anymore. I know how frustrating that was seeing it not being taken care of. I've given quite the number of plants to my MIL and I think a handful are still around. Shrug! I hope you find another one!

Debbie I hope you can find Moonshine again, it really is a wonderful variety, particularly the beautiful pale new leaves. I've had to leave plants behind when I've moved, hoping that other people would look after them. When I came back to the UK from Maine I left many treasures behind :(

Thanks for the reassurances. And yes, Planto, they are not as commonly found as they used to be. WM usually has some sans. I just haven't seen this one. But, I'm sure I'll find one soon. nodding

could it be Moonshine?
forgive me--I just know mine as the tall yellow stripey ones, the medium sometimes silvery ones, and the little ones *Blush*
They are getting crowded again and I'd be more than happy to share--heck, I'd give you a giant pot of them if I could...

I am always excited when it finally starts growing new leaves..slow growing indeed:

This Sans has been through a lot, recovering well after near death a couple of years ago:

I like seeing the pointy tips showing, it tells me it is waking up from its cold season slumber:

Not yet certain, but it seems there is a bloomstalk forming in between those leaves.
I thought it needs to be more mature than what it currently looks like to form the bloomstalk, so will observe a little more:

Sans francisii is busy making offsets: as always I find so different from mommy plant.
