Thanks Cinta,
I was in the hospital again. Feeling a little better. Dr's. say it will take a few weeks this time. Seems each time it gets a little worse. With age, it's never going to get better but with new medicines and good care I got a long life to look forward to. Your jade plant is doing well, sadly to say the stapelias bit the dust. Can't tell you why, you sent two large nicely cut sections and should not have happen. I did buy replacements and sadly they also did not fare too well. I don't know why when all my other ones are doing ok. Strange.

I am happy to see you are doing better. I thought you were sick because I had not seen you in awhile.

That is strange. You know I treat them horrible. I do not water them all winter and I have them in a pot without drainage with all the rain we have gotten the last 4 dys when I went out today I had to turn them on their side because they were floating in water. When they bloom I will send you another one.

I was looking at Moonshine today and it looks like it is getting ready to send up another crazy sport. Remember this plant? I think I sent you a piece. It is another one that I treat badly. It has been in that pot with no drainage since I picked it up off the ground on a business trip 10 yrs ago. Rolling on the floor laughing

Happily blousing all the wonderful sans you guys growing there, then feel really sad about what happening to my second year's:
Thumb of 2015-07-28/fiat/f0d855

Just that one turning brown on me. Is that a too dry problem? (we are getting real hot&dry now, 100+ for at least next 7, 8 days and 107 max) It's been inside all year round. Will the bad one infect others? Thinking about removing it from the whole pot... Any suggestions? Tks

Fiat, is that a new leaf from the middle of a rosette or an older leaf? How long has it been since it was repotted?

Thanks, Tiffany. I am not sure, but think it's an old leaf... I bought and repotted last year (around Sept?) and don't think it's a new growth since then. I just found it discolored yesterday, but didn't know when it started. All others look just fine but this one.

It could just be "old age." No leaf lives forever. Smiling

Sometimes only time will tell. If you don't see any others die off, then I'd attribute it to old age. If it continues, then it's time to worry. Hilarious!

Planto, took the words right out of my mouth!

For future reference, a snake plant grows a rosette similar to a rose flower, in a circle, with the newest entities in the middle. The leaves around the outside would be the oldest ones.

Yes I wouldn't worry, leaves age and often turn yellow and die off.
