we went to the Christmas tree shop today .. bought a honeysuckle vine, some lily bulbs, bleeding hearts, Japanese iris and some seeds... Kassia they have trumpet vines for $7.00 .. very hard to hold back buying more.. had tons of roses

They did not have trumpet vines or roses here yet... I got a rose from them once and it did not make it for the winter... I will check again in a few days...

Looks like all the daylilies are poking out of the ground, some from the ones I bought from a co-op look like they didn't make it, so I need replace those, probably get these from Oakes

I read a book called "Beautiful Madness " and I could not believe when author talked the world of daylilies... really interesting stuff...
Those are gorgeous... love the color...

I have several pink ones that I got from Karen... I actually visited her garden and she is really crazy about them...

I have put in a small order to Mid-America & when I sent in the club order to Superstition added an IB for us & paid the treasurer at the meeting yesterday. Bought a TB (Blushing) from Mid America. DH won't be happy as he prefers the smaller ones. We are at the 'cut back' stage & our seedlings take up space.

ok, got roses!!! so happy!!!

Coming next week from Palatine Roses - my Canadian beauties!!strong, reliable the best bare roots ever!!!!

So Africa ( yellow - gorgeous - my second one...) grandiflora
Dream Come True grandiflora
Laguna climber
Harlekin climber

From Antique Rose Emporium (love their roses) will be here last week of April...
Winter Sunset( a Griffith Buck rose - I have several of his roses... can't help but love them!)

And I could not resist when I saw a Lillian Gibson Rose at home depot last night... yes, it's bad of me but the price was right and I will give my best and plant the poor thing and pray!!!!

I have planted Johann Strauss last week and will plant Janet (David Austin) today...

Have I told you guys how happy I am ????
