Has anyone ever seen a cobbler's shoe stand used in garden art? My Mom has one and I don't know of a good way to use it in my garden. Thanks for any suggestions.

If it would decay outdoors, I would use it indoors.

Thanks, crittergreen. I hadn't thought of that. I believe it is cast iron.

You made me smile today with your "Turn me over" rock. How clever! I love your ideas, pond is perfect and I have a bird cage here that I think needs some succulents put in it. My imagination is not working at all.

I am happy to be seeing the days getting shorter; however with the way the powers that be keep messing with the clock, it seems like the days do not begin to get shorter until several months from now. I sincerely wish they would work it the other way around if they insist on messing with it. I would dearly love to see the sun shining until 6:30 pm in the dead of winter. Just as I think it's ridiculous for it to be dusk at 9 pm presently.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

I totally agree, especially with the sun shining at 6:30 in the winter. It is also very confusing to me when our daughters in AZ are not on daylight saving time and I have to keep up with who is where at what time!!!! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!
