I guess we both were tired - see Den violaceum Rolling my eyes. so it is manageable in size.

Kathy, the Bl Morning Glory is a hybrid of Brassavola nodosa x Laelia purpurata.

I original posted violacea-an error, my bad. It is blooming in a 2" pot. Very manageable!
Bc. Punakea is C. Lulu x Bc. Maikai. Maikai is an offspring of B. nodosa x Gur. bowringiana. So they both have B. nodosa.

Wonderful! Even the thumbnail is fab. I have 2 spicerianums that haven't bloomed in years. I'm jealous. Can you post more pics of this beauty so I feel "full?" Thumbs up

Thanks for the invite boojum! Lovely photos all around here!

I took this pic last summer at Lewis Ginter Gardens, in the orchid house...
A stunning wreath made out of live orchids!
The photo can't do it justice... it was nearly four feet across!!!

It hung over the doors between the orchid house and another part of the conservatory.

A closer view. This orchid is 'out there' for me as it is deciduous. Right now no leaves...once the flowers have faded I'll leave it bone-dry until I see a new growth forming.

I lost mine because I followed instructions to un-pot and let dry Angry , but have not lost my catasetum which I stopped watering and now wait till the roots grow to an inch or two to resume watering. I'm about to start the watering Thumbs up .
