I'm having a blast. Of course I'm running the cubit so I am online non stop now learning how to do BBcodes (I swore I'd never do programming). Never say never.

I'm having fun too just can't keep up. The pictures here have to be the best and most interesting. Strictly an objective opinion here. Big Grin

My Cyms are dropping flowers. I'd be sad if it were not a sure fire sign of SPRING! Ya know the way most folks are busy with seed and plant lists right now? I'm busy researching what I'd like to have orchid-wise that will bloom next Nov.-February. Paph. Hsinying 'Web Giant' x Paph. Pulsar 'Hsinying Flame'

Where are we? Is More Feb orchids part three? Well, I'm already here at the moment. Here are some hairy Paph. warts.

You can post on Feb 2 or the More Feb thread. I was playing with splitting a thread. Can you believe I bought 9 more at the Amherst OS show today?!

I got a nice Dinema polybulbon (again), Slc. Fire Magic 'Nora,' Den. kingianum var Silcockii, a Bulbo sp., Maxillaria dillonii, Huntleya heteroclita, Schoenorchid fragrans, Amesiella monticola and Bifrenaria tyrianthina.
My loot.

Beautiful paph!! Although those hairs look like they would hurt.

I immediately put the Dinema on my new Epiweb! The roots grabbed right on. Ursula's been hinting for years that this stuff is great. So I've put this slab in good sun at the bottom of the shelves across the tray. Perfect for it to grow and prosper!

Congratulations (as she grumbles and kicks a can). Drooling Just a bit warmer and I'll do an Andy's order. It was a beautiful 60's outside today. I put the cool Dens. out and told them to play until dinnertime. Nice in the plant room too. I'm being extra careful because now that my collection is maturing I've got a bunch of first time bloomers beginning to spike. Just wish they had done their thing a month or so ago.

Laurel, nicely lit Paph!
Btw Andy will include heat-packs if needed and he will ship overnight at the beginning of the week.....no excuses..... Big Grin

Kathy, way to go!
I would water the Dinema and try to gently bend and tie the run-away/upwards piece towards the slab too. If you can do that without injury.
Good for you! Now we can compare notes. The blooms are wonderfully fragrant.
Is the Amesiella monticola in spike?

Ursula, I'm waiting to order so I don't have to acclimate the plants indoors and then, almost immediately, turn them out. The cool stuff is out early to mid April (unless in bloom) and the rest follows shortly thereafter. I'll be busy repotting and mounting during this time anyway. I've got such a large % coming into bloom for the first time that I just want to take it all in and evaluate my culture with the plants I already have. All said, I only add a couple at a time anyway. I really screwed up when I brought those new Dens. back from Miami in Nov. I made notations on the tags. Somehow I marked Den. macrophyllum as needing sun and a cool, dry rest. Confused Well, I thought it was right on track when all the leaves started drying up and falling off. Sad Once I realized what was going on I rushed to rehydrate, move away from the window and warm up. I think I see some new tiny green flushes at the bases of the pseudobulbs but I probably set it back big time.

Yeah, some of my Dens didn't like the cold WITH water either.

Todd, they just slid right in.

Here's Slc. Fire Magic (Lc. Tokyo Magic x Slc. Fire Fantasy).
