Lime Frost babies. They are so sweet. Looks like this might be one of those that produces only a few offsets per year. We'll have to keep track of it.
I love that semp.
Here is what my Lime Frost looks like this week. It really has a different growing habit than my other semps. The stolons are veeeery short. It also has semp blooms.
I know at one point in time, we all were wondering about the parentage of this semp. I have 3 plants all in different areas of my yard and all look different. I wonder if there is some variance in the way that each rosette produces chicks? I have one that is producing more like a jovi roller! Maybe Kevin can answer some of my questions?
Go here and ask him Sandi. The thread "Kevin Vaughn (Vignettes)" in Sempervivum forum
It will be interesting to see what we can learn about this semp.
He is gone for the next two weeks, Seattle and the state of Maine for speaking engagements.
They are a very pale pink, and quite lovely in person. The photo doesn't do them justice.
This has been such a weird bloom season here with the strange weather we've had. My pineapple guava even put out a few blooms 2 weeks ago.
