Agavegirl, I think it's perfectly reasonable for us to be upset over the changes, whether or not we agreed to them in the terms of service agreement.

For me, and for many others, it's not the changes themselves but how they were handled and communicated.

ATP (and DG) does have the "right" to change the site however they want, but the courteous and appropriate thing to do would be to survey us, notify, or warn us. On both sites, the most valuable part of the community is the members themselves.

It's true that DG was a great site for awhile and served me and others well. It's also true that it hasn't been that great recently. Imo, it's perfectly fine to bemoan its loss as long as needed.

This particular thread is for those of us who are upset over the loss. I don't see any reason to stop just because someone else says my reactions are unreasonable. Anyone is free to "unwatch" this thread if they don't like it. I just don't appreciate someone telling me I can't discuss something in a sandbox thread. Shrug!
