Poly, are you familiar with the 'Give a Mouse a Cookie' book? Written to let a child know what it is like to be a mother a little boy gives a mouse a cookie, then the mouse needs milk, then a napkin, then a mirror to see the milk mustache, then the mirror shows he needs a haircut, etc., When it comes to gardening I am the mouse. I start with a plan but see something along the way, then something else, then something else and spend a day piddling around with many things and never get back to my initial chore. Now I am going to find a cookie.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
