Almost all my perennials are still asleep. I see signs of spring emergence on a coreopsis, a new little one planted last fall One liatris has a few tiny blades poking up, too. That's it in my yard. A lot of stuff isn't visible at all in winter- like coneflowers. I won't know how things tolerated all this wet soil for a while still.

No volunteer seedlings have shown up yet either.

I took a walkabout in my yard today and about all I saw was
weeds
lots of WET soil
lots of rabbit turds
lots of deer tracks.
