Oh my gosh those are some neat ideas. I had to laugh at the shovel pine cone. I used to break so many shovels. My DH won't let me buy any shovels that don't have a fiberglass handle. This is top secret but I have broken one of those too. lol I just paint the metal part and stick in my flowerbeds.
I don't have a picture but I have taken springs from an old chair painted them then buried part of it so it will stand up and attached a small wooden sign with a garden saying on it to the top. I don't know if this has been done before I just got the idea when I was burning an old chair and the springs were left in the burn pile.
