The chocolate colored plicata iris is Epicenter. I have had it for many years.It is very tall. It is very popular on the auction. Here is a closer picture of it. I sell some of my irises every year to help support my daylily habit lol.

The heat here is not so much a problem as not having enough cold weather. We have mild winters a lot like this year, and I didn't have very much tall bearded iris bloom this year. When we get really cold weather, I have spectacular bloom.
