Ladders.
I'm dangerous with ladders, too.
Fold it so it's easy to flip over - then toss it up there. Flip, shimmy and slide it into position - then tie it down. I have to move the ladder about a dozen times.
Without a ladder ?? I guess you'd have to toss it up in a high wind and hope for the best
, sounds even more frustrating, however.
