This is mostly a Phoenix area post, unless you wanna come visit us (which I, for one, would love!)
If you saw my thread saying "Hi, I'm home!", then you might have seen my comments about The Potted Plants indoor plant sale. This is one of the companies that maintain indoor plants for offices, malls, etc. When the plant gets too big or doesn't look it's best anymore (from people dumping their coffee in it, lol) then they sell them off for ridiculously low prices. Some of them are *very* common, some not so, some need TLC, some are trash and some you won't understand why they're getting rid of them.
I got 2 smaller palms, $5, two very full pothos, .50 apiece, a very full Rhapis (Lady) palm that is taller than 5' for $25, two of the variegated Dracenas for $2, a ZZ plant needing TLC for $1. I also got a number of ceramic pots - these are pricey in comparison, but require no saucers and are very heavy.
Anywho, this sale is every 3rd Saturday of the month, goes from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00, on Dial Blvd just south of FLW. I would love to see ya'll there!
