I've used our outdoor kennel as a temporary holding area doing hurricane warnings/tropical storms. I have a rangoon creeper that covers the top but underneath it is covered with a chain link top about halfway. I put potted plants in there during high winds storms to keep them from being blown away. They can only get blown as far as the kennel sides. LOL.
