I am amazed at how much information was shared in just one hour. I am loving these podcasts.
1. Crepe Myrtle. I am still laughing about the "Crepe Murder" Sounds like one of the OPB murder mysteries.
I have to agree with the two of you, middle of the road creates the prettier picture for me.
Also on my home page, if I type in Crepe Myrtle in the search box it brings up the database entries, all the threads and even articles and blogs containing the words Crepe Myrtle. And boy is there a lot to search through.
That 'Masonry Ladder' tip was amazing. And so inexpensive to do. It had me thinking about my two new clematis that need to be planted in the ground this spring, green beans, cucumbers, peas, and I am sure there will be many other plants I will be able to use this great tip for.
I just have to comment on ge1836 (Jo Ann). She is one of those very creative people with an artist's eye for putting together containers and plant combinations for the borders. Go check it out.
You should also go to her ATP blog. I didn't even know until today that she paints the most amazing water colors. I lost track of how long I spent going through her blog.
On the seed starting part, I learned so much from this podcast. Things I will definitely be using this growing season.
I had not thought about soaking certain veggie seeds before planting, and had never tried the pre-germanating thing. I have some older seed that I am going to use with this method.
One last thing. I am going to search out more info on worm culture and worm casting tea.
I can't wait to see the next podcast. Learning is such a grand adventure.
