Greg, your friends semps may just be the common tectorum type of semp, which is green year round.
Cheryl good to see you, and relieved your semps made it through a difficult winter. I think we got all your rain. It is amazing how fast they can recuperate.
I've been replanting the last two days, into new beds. I have moved Tederheid, Lavender and Old Lace and a couple others that have been having problems with rot for several years. No dry shriveled semps here.
This will be my last try to keep them happy. Sad, they are such beautiful semps.

When moving Pallas today I found this pore little offset stuck up under the shade side of the parent rosette. Think it needed light? Wonder how long it'll take it to acquire normal coloration?
