I rarely grow my semps in containers, but have used Al's recipe in the past. It worked really well until summer time. We have no rain for 3 months in the hottest part of our summer and my potted semps suffered in the mix.

I mix either pumice or chicken grit, 3 parts mix and 1 part pumice/grit.
It doesn't list it on the site, but it also contains perlite.

I find when planting in hypertufa I need to use something that will hold a little more moisture for summer, but still drain fast.
