I recently planted out a mostly shaded (in summer) rock wall, that I didn't think sedums would grow on. Included Blue spruce and while I was planting anything that fell off, I'd plant...in just a few weeks these shoots are rooted and doing great - they're not very colorful because not much sun, but they are growing, pretty amazing!!
