Just starting to storm here, and was afraid some of the blooms would be washed away if I waited for them to open more. Some of these definitely aren't EMO's!!

The wind was starting to gust a bit, so these spider photos aren't the best. This first one is one of Fred's seedlings that I just love - and it's nocturnal (FFO) and Green Throated Robin FFO

This is Cottage 8A. As many know, a small section of our property in western PA was formerly a daylily farm in the 60's and they have been allowed to grow wild - in the woods that is sprouting up there! It is very obvious the changes that have occurred in daylilies over the last decades. This one never does photograph true to color it is slightly redder than the photo and prettier in real life. Simple flower, nice clump. The other thing I have noticed with these cottage daylilies is that they tend to need 2-3 years to really settle in. I have more just getting ready to bloom. I also never know the colors when I transplant them from PA, it's always a surprise.
