Cher - Fellow Vermonter. I feel cheated that this summer has has been so rained out. Hard to work in the garden, cuz' the ground is saturated. Weeds grow faster than the daylilies, and faster than I can get them out. Murphy's Soap Oil Spray is my drug of choice for all the creepy crawlies. I use it on buds and leaves. Creepy crawlies don't like the taste and slide right off. This is the first year I have ever seen those tiny brown caterpillars on my blooms. Hang in there, Cher, WCAX weatherman says this lingering weather pattern may be departing finally by this weekend. First, we have to get through tomorrow.
