I am not use to having seedlings still blooming in July, but am happy that they are. Of course, a couple of days of sunshine would be nice instead of daily rain and clouds. Today could be the turning point though as it only rained for about 10 minutes this morning and the sun has been in and out from behind the clouds.
Thumb of 2013-07-15/LarryW/ea2f89 The cross that you cannot read is Forestlake Ragamuffin X Rose Spiketail
Thumb of 2013-07-15/LarryW/43ff7f This is from the cross Randy Stephens X Alan Lane Agin

Thumb of 2013-07-15/LarryW/6e5b2a The cross is Melissa Begnaud XRandy Stephens. I have four siblings which all have similar flowers, but this is the only one that the plant is tall enough to be considered worthwhile. I have several crosses with Randy Stephens that are nice and tall, but this is the only cross with Melissa Begnaud. Has anyone else used it and have you gotten short, fairly weak plants?

Can you tell? I'm trying for red flowers with teeth! I've go a couple of purples too.

Larry
