This is a yellow I transplanted from the growing wild 'heirloom' daylily garden from our cottage in western PA. I assume it is a dip, and I have no clue if it is a formerly registered daylily, or a bee pod that developed over the years (part of our Cottage proerty was a daylily farm in the 50's & 60's - and that acre has been growing wild since then - with other wildflowers, trees & blackberry brambles). What you can't see from this photo is that it not only glowed, but is diamond dusted.
Easy Ned has also been posted previously, and it was awesome this year. I also have Toltec Sundial - which is STILL blooming, and Buttered Popcorn. And my final yellow is H. Citrina, which is dear to my heart - although not the showiest, nor longest lasting blooming daylily, but was hybridized in the 1890's. It is also nocturnal, and one of my earliest bloomers.
