I realize I have been popping in here randomly but i've has PC problems and im am busy trying to dig up plants. I have also been putting alot of energy into the Dempsey 5K Challenge... raising cancer awareness and raising money. I said I would shave my head again if I reached $500 in donations. I have until Oct. 11th as the run is on the 12th. As of this morning I am @ $450!!!!! For those of you who donated already THANK YOU!!!
I have lost my Dad, Mom, 2 sister in-laws, my brother and my Great-Great Nephew to this horrible disease. I have a brother inlaw in remission and my brother has lost his kidney and both his testicles and is still in the fight.
You have no idea what this means to me....I cried like a baby when I realized how close I was to my goal and how much people have given in just a few days. It warms my heart and makes me feel like I am making a difference.
